Are you moving poorly because you are in pain, or are you in pain because you are moving poorly?

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the heart of the Radiant Studio. Sarah will use a variety of physiotherapy techniques during her private (individual) physiotherapy sessions including manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, muscle releases, dry needling and Kinesio Taping.

Extended consults are available to be assessed using the ConnectTherapy TM methodology. Sarah is one of only a few Perth physiotherapists studying the ConnectTherapy model with Dr Linda Joy Lee. For a detailed explanation of this model go to Dr LJ Lee’s curriculum website or her physiotherapy clinic site for fantastic patient explanations here.

Traditional 'hands on' physiotherapy skills are then combined with exercise prescription incorporating targeted strengthening exercises plus repertoire from Sarah’s Pilates Studio degree, to give you all the tools you need to manage your rehabilitation and strengthening program away from the clinic.

Group Physiotherapy Sessions

The Group Physiotherapy Exercise Sessions are conducted in our Pilates Studio. Your program will be designed with an in clinic focus as well as a home based focus. We have at our disposal fitballs, a Cross Trainer, a Stationary Bicycle, various Bosu’s and wobble boards, therabands and free weights. Sessions will also incorporate some of the Pilates equipment as required. These can be booked as Duo Sessions with up to two people or as a Small Group Equipment Class with up to three people. Your physiotherapist will guide you as to which level of supervision you will need when deciding which group to join.

You will receive a full assessment of your movement strategies over the sessions plus a physiotherapy bio-mechanical assessment. We will combine ConnectTherapy TM methodology and Pilates principles with our Physiotherapy techniques to design and implement a program specifically suited to your needs.
